Welcome, I’m Laura.

Mother, photographer, traveller and creative.

My family and I live in a small town called Yate in South Gloucestershire, nestled between Bristol, Bath, The Cotswolds and South Wales.

When I’m not seeking out the light, you’ll most likely find me in our garden with a book, soaking up a slower pace of life.

We love little adventures with our dog Snoops and bigger one’s with our Son, Archer. Exploring and travelling is a huge source of inspiration for me, Iceland was a particular highlight in 2025.

In my personal life, I’m drawn to the cosy and the curious: Mysteries, fungi hunting, charity shop treasures and old-school board games. I’m also a classic millennial stereotype, fuelled by coffee, writing endless lists on pen and paper and always with a 90’s - 00’s playlist on repeat.

Photography experience

I photographed my first wedding in 2007, while at University studying Photographic Art. Prior to this, I studied black and white film photography at College, and these are skills I still use today.

With this ever evolving industry, I passionately continue to learn, experiment and keep forward thinking with my couples in mind.

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and thousands of people over the past 15 years.

One guest quote that has always stuck with me: ‘You must photograph more smiles in one day, than most people experience in a lifetime.’ This was a bitter sweet moment that plays in my mind often. I do get to share incredibly special days with a lot of families, and am so grateful.
